Congratulations to WDM Valley's Aziz Haffar, who was recently named the United Soccer Coaches National Coach of the Year for 2025! Coach Haffar has lead the Tigers to 6 State Championships, 25 Conference Championships, and has collected more than 600 wins in his 30+ years at Valley. 

Being on the national stage is nothing new for Haffar and Valley Boys Soccer. Valley soccer has seen numerous individual honors, including players who have gone on to be recognized as All-Conference players, All-Americans, and Gatorade Player of the Year recipients. In 1996, his team was ranked No. 1 nationally by the United Soccer Coaches, reflecting Valley’s prominence on the national stage.

This award is voted on by coaches across the country and recognizes Haffar’s leadership, success, and contribution to high school soccer. He is scheduled to be formally honored at the United Soccer Coaches Awards Ceremony in January 2026, in Philadelphia.
